Best Concert
Been to a few in my time,

Michael Jackson at Wembley stadium was good.
Pearl Jam at the Irvine Ampitheatre was a great show.

Saw Paul Weller at the House of Blues in L A, enjoyed that.

Simple minds at Wembley Arena had the place rocking.

Best I’ve been to though was Springsteen at Wembley stadium on his Born in the USA tour.
Best of who I’ve seen.

Re: Best Concert
Rod Stewart - Wembley stadium 1980's, both concerts I went to were really good plus decent support bands in Status Quo and Mike and the Mechanics.

Went to see a double header of Elton John/Billy Joel but Joel cried off so Elton did three hours solid, which was a decent effort.

The Prodigy at the Brixton Academy was pretty memorable. However, Snarky Puppy at the Scala was special. Possibly Ashford and Simpson in Dunstable around 1979 was great.

Jealous of your Born in USA tour, Nutsin. Saw Springsteen do the entire album a few years back at our gaff….well, nearby. Brilliant gig all round. Saw his Broadway show too which is my highlight. That’s if I can call it a concert.

Don't generally do music so haven't been to too many, but the Ultravox come back at The Hammersmith Apollo in 2009 was great because I was too young to go to the first one back in 81!

I must add that I took mum about 5 years agon to a small hall near the coast to see the first band she ever saw when she was 16, The Chris Barber Band. Obviously they had a few replacements due to serveral passing on, and I believe Chris Braber himself now has, but I must say they were excellent, real foot tapping stuff.

Springsteen x 30 so take your pick .
But on his own at the Albert Hall will take some topping.

Net fix -Springsteen on Broadway is still going.

Yes I'm a fan.

ABC at the Brighton Dome.

First half of the show their newer songs, it was ok.

Second half the lexicon of love album in its entirety backed with a full string orchestra.

What a fucking concert that was.

Also went and saw a Queen tribute band called Killer Queen at the same venue, fucking amazing!

Re: Best Concert
I’ve seen a fair few gigs in my time but only 5 stick out.

Ariana Grande, June 7th 2017.
First show proper after the Manchester bomb. Just seemed to have a lot more energy and sticking two fingers up at those that wanted to harm us.

The One Love Manchester benefit concert. Was a privilege to work on that, spent best part of a week at Wembley Arena watching the rehearsals and generally helping out. Really saw what goes into a production and how it pans out.

Prodigy live at V Chelmsford. Self explanatory really.

Pop will eat itself reformation tour (punter) They reformed “as the drummer is skint”

Pop will eat itself, last October at a socially distanced sit down show in Islington.(punter)

First gig since lockdown.
